The foam blocks elevate your furniture off the ground so that they aren’t damaged by the water or chemicals used to clean your carpets. 

Wait to put furniture back

Even after the carpet cleaning professionals, the foam blocks and moved furniture should stay how it is until it is completely dry. In most cases, it is recommended to leave the furniture how it is for at least 24 hours to keep your furniture protected. Be sure to ask your carpet cleaners to confirm their recommended amount of time to keep your furniture elevated or moved out of the cleaned rooms.
