Dry carpet cleaning is when carpet cleaners use dry compounds to grab the dirt out of your carpets. The cleaner starts by vacuuming to loosen up some of the dirt particles in your carpet. Then they will spread a dry powder over the carpet and a little amount of water to soak up the dirt and stain from your carpet. After another vacuum, the carpet will be dry and clean. This method is mostly used in office spaces or other larger areas, but can be used in homes if the cleaner is certified. This newer way of cleaning has worked for some customers, but the chemicals in the powder could be harmful to pets and kids.
